4. User Accounts

5. For Job Seekers

5.1 Profile and Resume

Job Seekers agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate information in profiles and resumes
• Keep information current and up-to-date
• Not misrepresent qualifications, experience, or credentials
• Own or have rights to all content uploaded

5.2 Job Applications

• Applications are submitted directly to employers
• BackboneJobs is not responsible for employer responses or hiring decisions
• Users should exercise caution and due diligence when interacting with employers
• Report any suspicious or fraudulent job postings immediately

6. For Employers

6.1 Job Postings

Employers agree to:

• Post only legitimate job opportunities
• Provide accurate job descriptions, requirements, and compensation
• Comply with all applicable employment laws and regulations
• Not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, age, or any protected characteristic
• Not post jobs requiring illegal activities or work permits violations

6.2 Applicant Data

• Employers must handle applicant data in compliance with privacy laws
• Use applicant information only for recruitment purposes
• Not share or sell applicant data to third parties
• Delete applicant data when no longer needed

6.3 Verification

BackboneJobs may verify employer information and reserves the right to:

• Request additional documentation
• Suspend or terminate accounts that fail verification
• Remove job postings that violate our policies

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Spam or send unsolicited communications
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Post content that violates intellectual property rights
• Engage in any illegal activities
• Circumvent security features or restrictions

8. Content and Intellectual Property

8.1 User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting content, you grant BackboneJobs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display the content for operating and improving the Platform.

8.2 Platform Content

All Platform content, including design, logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by BackboneJobs and protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

9. Payment Terms

9.1 Free Services

Basic job seeker accounts are free. Free employer postings may be subject to limitations.

9.2 Paid Services

• Premium job postings and features may require payment
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• Prices may change with notice
• Payment information must be accurate and current

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using BackboneJobs, you consent to our collection and use of personal data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

11.1 Platform "As Is"

BackboneJobs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy or reliability of content
• Job placement or hiring outcomes
• Conduct of other users

11.2 Limitation of Liability

BackboneJobs shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or opportunities
• Actions or omissions of users or third parties
• Damages exceeding the amount paid to BackboneJobs in the past 12 months

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BackboneJobs harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of any rights of third parties
• Your content or conduct

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts:

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

14. Dispute Resolution

16. General Provisions

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and BackboneJobs.

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

16.3 Waiver

Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. BackboneJobs may assign its rights and obligations.
